Welcome to the practice blog for EDM 510 Spring 2015!  I am excited you have decided to visit my blog.  This blog is to be used for educational purposes.  Any post will be removed if it deemed inappropriate.

In our soon to be professional lives, we resort to the internet for information, guidance, and development.  Below I would like you to post a single website that you have found to be a great educational resource or professional development in your educational career, whatever that might be, and the reason why you feel it has contributed to your development in the world of education.

I personally really love following the Chronicle of Higher Education on Facebook. This helps me see generally what is going on in the country, trends, news, and some opinion pieces. It really helps to stay up to date on a publication specific to higher ed.

    1. Pinterest is one that I hear of all of the time thanks to my partner teachers. I have not actually signed up and begun to use it, but it is one that I hear a lot about. Thanks for sharing!

  3. http://lizardpoint.com/geography/

This website is an excellent one for brushing up on one’s geography skills. I used this in high school and I intend to have kids use it myself. I have referenced this source many times when creating assignments for my 500-level education courses.
